The way we compose music and play piano is a little bit different. The main factor for music is not a musical notes, but sound vibration that based on finger and piano string proportions. Playing this way, sound resonates creating variable and infrequent accords. This style of music allows to play also on differently tuned (untuned) instruments because prime sound comes from piano soundboard. But the easiest way to understand it is to listen.
